A little bit about Tony and Jen
TONY O’NEILL
Fitness & health isn’t a job for me, its my life. When I was working in a gym 16 years ago personal training found me, it wasn’t really a thing then.
So, I studied, and have continued to study right up to today to become the best personal trainer I can. I want to understand everything about human DNA… what motivates us, what fuels us and what helps us move better. I have a huge personal interest in the psychology behind why we do what we do, you’ll notice that filtering in too!
The last decade I have focused more on athlete nutrition both professional & amateur, mainly within the boxing community. Alongside this I have been working with online clients both male and female on weight management. For me the best part of doing what I do is seeing the lasting change my clients and I can work together to produce.
JEN CURRAN
Food has been at the centre of my life since I left home at 18. Originally I worked as a journalist in health, fitness & lifestyle. Writing for the Sunday World newspaper, Women’s Health & Fitness Australia and UK and several online platforms. It was through this that my passions collided and a love for creating nutritious food developed.
We moved to Australia in 2014 we spent our time working on a healthy cookie range before returning to Belfast to set up Tony & Jen’s restaurant.
I worked as the head chef in the restaurant, serving up countless buddha bowls and sexy oats. In this site we are opening the doors behind Tony & Jen’s. Sharing the secrets behind making everything more nutritious and tastier (we’ll try to make it look pretty too)!
We also tap into something I find so necessary stress management. Having been at the helm of one the most intense jobs about, I understand the importance of taking time for you. Even if it is 5 minutes, that time is priceless and so incredibly needed. Have fun exploring what we are all about.
